Dealing with the fact that I had to drive away from him and our soon-to-be home yesterday afternoon was not.
So, while I sort all those emotions out, revel in the memories we made, and long for the next five weeks to pass quickly, I'll leave you with a message from my husband.

As for the goodbyes, I always thought that the more I had to do them (hubs and I were long distance through most of his training in the Army) the easier they would get. Sorry to tell you, they don't! But on the other hand, as my sister-in-law reminded me (she's also a milspouse), it shouldn't ever be easy to say goodbye to your lover! :)
